Unlike most other farm experiences and animal walking experiences, ours is authentic (a working farm!) and our ethos is individual-care; we limit group bookings to 8 (or 2 families) and bespoke events to 6. (‘Special events are an exception to this rule!)
Bespoke events
Once you place a bespoke booking, you will receive an email setting out a suggested itinerary and route for your walk. You are invited to make selections and choices. It may include an extended animal grooming session, some goat agility, or a foraging for animal food session – it’s up to you! You may wish to take it easy or get lots done!
Bookings are for up to 6 people and cost £180 for 2 hours or £150 for 1.5 hours.

Group bookings
These are £25 per person for 2 hours, for a maximum of 8 (very occasionally 9) people.
Please contact me directly for families with more than 2 children.
Parties
We can host younger children’s birthday parties (ages 5-11) to include:
meeting the poultry, sheep and lambs (seasonal), goats, ponies;
an obstacle course;
a mystery trail resulting in party bag for each guest and a special prize for the birthday boy or girl.
Please email for prices and availability. Please note that we cannot provide food but we have an outdoor garden area with a table that can be decorated and used for the birthday cake.
We can also of course host parties for ages 11+ and we would advise that we discuss ideas to suit the particular group.
Team-building events
Please do ask us about these!
We are really excited to be able to offer these and have some really fun activities that particularly draw upon trust and communication. The farm environment can really bring people out of their shells and the fresh air and beautiful landscape makes for lasting memories of positive interactions

The Farm as Therapy: The Care Farm
Who doesn’t need to ground themselves? We could all do with slowing down and connecting with the earth, the plants, the water in the stream. The animals have a special way of teaching lessons we need to hear in a non-judgemental and very subtle manner; they won’t force it, it’ll come when we’re open to it. Sometimes they offer humour and fun, whereas they can also offer a deeply-felt calming energy. When we interact with them lessons unfold. The farm can open up blocked communication pathways with others and also self-reflection. It can offer healing from trauma and hard times.
We recommend courses of 6-10 weeks for individuals and their guardians, carers or companions of one to two hours a week. We provide the space and the activities; which may be as simple as the blue mind therapy of sitting quietly by the stream, or it may be a physical and practical task such as mucking out and bedding down a horse’s stable, and we monitor progress. At the end of the course, you will receive a personalised Certificate of Completion.
School visits
We have undertaken visits to a school in the past, thoroughly enjoyed it, and were greatly rewarded by the clear benefits to the children in terms of education, welbeing and pure enjoyment! We would love to do some more of these!
We bring our smaller, friendliest animals (2 goats, 2 sheep, 2 chickens and 2 ducks) and contain them within pens on tarpaulin. This can be in a yard or in an accessible hall. We need access with a truck and a livestock trailer. We are happy to cover all of south wales.
We have also hosted 30 children at a time to our farm for 2 hour educational visits which were a huge success! Please get in touch to discuss!

Farmer-Rhi is CEVAS accredited for Countryside Educational Visits and has completed the Farms as Therapy CEVAS course, awaiting accreditation.
Please email to discuss individual requirements. Also please do ask if you need us to help with funding applications.
